Welcome!
I’m Silvia, a Brazilian-Italian who fell in love with Australia the moment I arrived to study Zoology in 2008. I completed my Bachelor of Science in beautiful, humid Cairns, followed by a PhD in Medical and Molecular Sciences in 2022. I’ve spent years researching some of the most venomous marine species in the world, and my work has been featured on Channel 7 and radio.
But despite my love for science, something within me didn’t feel aligned.
During my PhD, I hit an emotional low that I eventually realized was the beginning of deep depression. I "powered through" to earn my doctorate and managed to secure a job in Brisbane before I had my diploma. I packed my life into my car and drove 1,700 km south, hoping for a fresh start.
Instead, life took a turn for the worse. I found myself isolated, frustrated, and profoundly alone. By 2024, I hit rock bottom. I reached a point of deep emotional collapse where I could no longer see a way forward. It was dark, it was heavy, and I saw no way out.
The Turning Point
At the end of 2024, a friend lent me the book The Journey by Brandon Bays. My entire body resonated with her words. Before I even finished the book, I was searching for a practitioner in Brisbane.
From my very first session, I felt the internal tectonic plates shift. I knew I had found something that would change my life. Shortly after the session, I went to an event on the Gold Coast and met Brandon Bays, the author of this work, and the Australian team in person at a training event.
What happened during those 4 days of immersive deep work was so profound that I enrolled in the full practitioner course in February 2025.
The Breakthrough
Five months into dedicated weekly Journey work, I had the breakthrough that changed everything. I physically felt my heart melt and become soft inside my body. For years, my heart had felt heavy and “pointy.” It would beat so hard at night that I struggled to relax and go into deep sleep. But that night, after that session, I slept soundly. I woke up feeling light. The racing in my heart had stopped, the heaviness had vanished, and I realized my lifelong anxiety had simply... gone. It vanished!
My hands, which used to shake so badly that I would sometimes drop food from my fork, became steady. My family had always worried about my shaky hands. It wasn’t a degenerative disease; it was stored emotional stress that finally had permission to leave.
The Power of Consistency
I want to be honest: my total transformation didn't happen overnight. It was the result of deep, consistent work. For five months straight I was doing weekly Journey sessions alongside my practitioner training. I threw my arms wide open to the process and didn't hold back. Week after week, I peeled back the layers, and after every single session, I could feel something significant shifting.
A New Way of Living
The physical shifts deepened as I continued the work throughout that year. My chronic menstrual cramps disappeared. My jaw, which had been locked up that I could barely open, regained its full range of motion. My wrist, knee, shoulder no longer hold me back. I run, lift weights, and dance - all pain free.
Most importantly, the soul-crushing depression was also gone. Today, I still feel sadness like any other human being, but it no longer destroys me. I’ve traded academia to become a certified Journey Practitioner because I am living proof that deep, cellular healing is possible when you commit to the process.
I still make sure I have a Journey process every week. Like the subtitle says, it's my new way of living. Living from freedom and peace.

Because I have experienced the profound benefits of sustained work, meaningful and lasting change often comes through a series of 3–5 sessions, allowing time to work through the very core of your belief systems and create lasting change in how you show up in life.
